Train your personality. Change your life.
A research-backed app for becoming who you want to be.
What is Personality Trainer?
Personality Trainer is a research-backed app that helps you build the traits you want through personalized daily challenges.
It’s not self-help advice—it’s a structured system for transforming your habits, mindset, and behavior over time.
How it Works
Choose Your Trait(s)
Start by selecting what personality trait you want to develop—like Conscientiousness, Emotional Stability, or Extraversion.
Create Your Vision
Through guided writing exercises, you’ll reflect on the kind of person you want to become—and the kind you don’t. This helps you stay focused, motivated, and connected to your deeper “why.”
Complete Your Challenges
Get daily and weekly tasks tailored to your goals—each one simple, science-backed, and actionable. Earn XP, build streaks, as you go. Watch yourself develop the personality you want, day by day.

-
Unlock the full experience. Set custom challenges, get tailored motivational nudges, and complete guided writing tasks to accelerate your growth. Designed for people ready to go all in.
The Science Behind it
Research shows that regularly completing goal-based challenges can lead to meaningful and lasting personality change. When people consistently practice behaviors aligned with the traits they want to develop—like becoming more organized, calm, or outgoing—they gradually start to embody those qualities.
Structured writing tasks are known catalysts of change. Guided exercises that help users clarify their goals and envision their future selves have been shown to boost motivation and reinforce long-term commitment. Personality Trainer brings these two strategies together—daily action and vision-building—to help users develop the traits that matter most to them.

You can work on any of the Big Five personality traits:
Conscientiousness (e.g., being more organized, responsible, and goal-oriented)
Emotional Stability (e.g., becoming less anxious or reactive)
Extraversion (e.g., increasing sociability and assertiveness)
Agreeableness (e.g., becoming more patient, kind, or cooperative)
Openness to Experience (e.g., being more curious, imaginative, or open to new ideas)

Personality Trainer will be a subscription-based platform with three tiers:
Free Tier: You’ll be able to work on one of the Big Five traits at a time through guided weekly and daily challenges. It’s a great way to get started, but it’s the most limited version.
Standard Subscription ($3.00 / Month): This gives you full access to work on multiple traits at once, better tracking of your progress, and more variety in the kinds of challenges you’ll see.
Premium Subscription ($5.00 / Month): Along with everything in the Standard plan, Premium includes powerful writing exercises designed to help you reflect on your goals and understand what really motivates you—something research shows can make change more likely to stick. You’ll also get personalized notifications to help keep you focused and moving forward.

That depends on your effort and consistency—some people notice changes in a few weeks, while for others it may take longer. Like any meaningful growth, personality change is a gradual process. The more you engage with the exercises and apply them in real life, the more you’ll get out of it. Results may vary from person to person, and change takes time—there are no quick fixes here.
-
Not necessarily—but like any personal growth tool, the more consistently you use it, the more likely you are to see meaningful results.
-
No. Personality Trainer is not a substitute for therapy. It’s a self-guided tool designed to help you grow, not to diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
However, research shows that people who are higher in traits like emotional stability and extraversion tend to experience fewer psychological difficulties. So while this isn’t therapy, intentionally developing certain traits may help build resilience and protect against some mental health challenges.
-
Yes—especially on the Standard and Premium plans, where you’ll get access to progress tracking and reflection tools to help you stay on course.
-
Anyone who wants to grow—whether you’re trying to be more focused, more confident, more open, or just want to build better habits.
-
No—we don’t use personality tests. They can act like placebos when results are positive, or feel discouraging when change takes time. Instead, we trust the science and the process. Real change happens gradually, through daily effort. The proof will be in how you show up in your life—not just in a score.
